Prof. Altaher Ibrahim Altabet
Professor at the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Faculty of Medical Technology, University of Tripoli, founder and president of the Libyan Medical Waste Club, and a collaborating professor with the National Center for Disease Control in Laboratories, Public Health, and Hospital Infection.
And a former scientific consultant at the Ministry of Health and the Libyan Environment General Authority, and a collaborating scientific consultant in the field of medical waste management with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and UNICEF Libya (UNICEF).
Experience
She has worked in different sectors, such as education, the environment, and health. Some of my assignments were teaching, training and supervision, and I also conducted many scientific types of research.
I am well known as a writer on medical waste and environmental issues. I founded the Libyan Medical Waste Association.
